Carbon Emissions Analysis, Impact Reporting and Net Zero Workshops
GES EMEA is a leading global exhibition and events agency that partners with organisers, exhibitors and agencies worldwide to create impactful experiences. As part of its ambitious sustainability journey, GES engaged Worlds Better to support the development and implementation of its Net Zero strategy, strengthen emissions reporting, and improve transparency around its environmental performance.
Over a multi-year partnership, Worlds Better worked closely with GES teams across the UK, Europe and the Middle East to measure and analyse emissions across Scopes 1, 2 and 3, improve the quality and consistency of sustainability data, and develop practical roadmaps for emissions reduction. This included detailed data collection and validation, emissions modelling and benchmarking, materiality assessments, and the creation of clear pathways towards GES's Net Zero ambitions and Carbon Quota commitments.
Beyond measurement and reporting, we facilitated a series of leadership, operational and supply chain workshops designed to build internal capability, strengthen accountability, and embed sustainability into decision-making across the organisation. Working with teams across regions and functions, we identified emissions hotspots, established consistent reporting processes, prioritised reduction opportunities, and developed actionable implementation plans to support year-on-year emissions reductions.
Worlds Better also supported the development of GES EMEA's Impact Reports and Net Zero Roadmaps, translating complex sustainability data into engaging, stakeholder-focused communications. By combining robust analysis with strategic storytelling, we helped GES communicate its progress, challenges and future commitments clearly and transparently, while ensuring alignment with its sustainability framework and business objectives.
Through this partnership, GES has strengthened the foundations of its sustainability programme, improved data quality and governance, enhanced internal engagement, and established a clear direction for reducing emissions across its operations and supply chain. The work has enabled GES to move from ambition to action, creating the structures, insights and accountability needed to drive meaningful progress towards Net Zero.
