How our employees are going green in 2023?

2023 is underway and companies and individuals are putting their goals and strategies into place. Have you considered implementing personal goals relating to sustainability? If so, we would love to hear what you have planned. Here are 5 ways Worlds Better employees are striving to be eco-friendly in 2023: Implementing energy-efficient lighting into our homes and offices – energy-saving (LED) light bulbs last up to 12 times longer than traditional bulbs Using eco-friendly & non-toxic products for cleaning – or creating our own products using vinegar, lemon juice, and bicarbonate soda

Opting for biodegradable household products, such as recycled toilet paper, natural deodorant, and bamboo toothbrushes

Washing our clothes less frequently – synthetic material sheds microplastics in the washing machine, which find their way into our oceans.

Unplugging our devices when they're not being used. Each UK household spends around £50-86 a year to power appliances left in standby mode or not in use. Our Founder Christianne (Chrissie) Beck committed to not buy any new clothes for a year from August 2022! Instead she is wearing everything she owns, repurposing/repairing what she has and buying second-hand or vintage when something is needed.
