IMPACCT & IMPACCT Live

IMPACCT is an event management company that supports organisations in planning, designing and delivering engaging live, virtual and hybrid meetings and events, helping to bring ideas to life and ensure events run smoothly from concept through to execution.​

Recognising the growing importance of sustainability for both clients and the events industry, IMPACCT partnered with Worlds Better to establish the foundations of a practical, business wide sustainability programme.​

The objective was to create a realistic framework that would enable sustainability to be integrated into business operations, supplier relationships, and live event delivery over time.​

Worlds Better delivered the following:​

• Conducted a comprehensive business Sustainability Audit to assess IMPACCT and IMPACCT Live's performance across ESG topics and identify key areas for improvement.​

• Developed a tailored Sustainability Strategy including near-term and longer-term sustainability objectives, aligned to IMPACCT's business model, client requirements, long-term ambitions and industry best practices.​

• Calculated companies' baseline businesses operations carbon footprint and developed a Roadmap to Net Zero, identifying key emissions hotspots and opportunities for reduction.​

• Developed bespoke Sustainable Events Toolkit, Sustainability Checklist, and Sustainability Management Plan, supported by team training and a practical Control, Influence & Awareness framework to help IMPACCT and IMPACCT Live confidently apply sustainability to real event delivery.​

• Established the foundations for future supplier engagement, live event implementation support, and progression towards ISO 14001 certification, creating a practical pathway from sustainability ambition to implementation across business operations, supplier relationships, and event delivery.​

Through training, practical resources and clear guidance, the programme has helped increase knowledge, confidence and capability across the team, enabling sustainability considerations to be embedded more consistently into day-to-day decision making and client delivery.
